Can I use the AI editor today?
Yes. Open the editor, sign in, and import a supported public website that you own or have permission to copy.
Will this change my live website?
No. Figment edits a separate static copy. You approve publication to a separate URL. Your original website and DNS stay unchanged.
What is free, and what is paid?
Import, editing with your own AI, and previews are free. No Figment subscription or AI credits are needed to edit. Your AI provider may charge separately. Paid hosting features, such as sign-in-protected websites, are separate from editing. Storage and service limits apply.
How many websites can I import?
An account can hold up to five active imported-site projects. Imports continue in background batches, with discovery limited to 500 pages per project. Storage and hosting limits also apply.
Which files can I edit?
Select existing HTML and CSS files from your imported website. Figment prepares them for your AI and checks the returned changes before creating a preview. The editor shows the file limits before you download. It does not run an AI model or ask for your AI API key.
Can I edit without leaving my current builder?
Some builders have their own AI tools. See which editing method fits your website before choosing a new workflow.
