In the editor, choose Your own AI. Download the selected HTML/CSS files and copy the prompt into your chat. Upload the AI's returned JSON file to Figment, review the preview, then approve publication. This is a manual file exchange, not a connected chat or an automatic update.
No Figment subscription is required for Your own AI. Your AI provider's limits and Figment's storage and hosting limits still apply. Figment AI is the optional paid choice.

Can I use the AI editor today?
Yes. Open the editor, sign in, and import a supported public website that you own or have permission to copy.
Will this change my live website?
No. Figment edits a separate static copy. You approve publication to a separate URL. Your original website and DNS stay unchanged.
What is free, and what is paid?
Import and private preview are free to start. Your own AI uses a manual file return with no Figment AI-credit charge. Storage, hosting, and service limits apply; this is not unlimited hosting. Your AI provider may charge separately.
Figment AI is optional and paid. Standard costs $7 for the first seven days, then $49 per month. Pro costs $7 for the first seven days, then $200 per month. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel. Review the selected plan before payment. Editor plans are separate from Figma plugin plans.
Can Figment AI edit any page?
No. A managed edit accepts one imported HTML page of at most 100,000 bytes and a request of up to 2,000 characters. Per-edit input, output, and cost limits also apply. The editor shows a limit message when a request is too large; adding credit does not raise these limits.
Can I edit without leaving my current builder?
