Where does Figment fit?

Figment's AI editor works on a separate static copy of a supported public site. It does not change your original hosting or transfer login, forms, or checkout services.

Do I need Claude Code or Codex?

No. This prompt asks for a change plan, so it works with a normal text chat. Your AI may need a screenshot or page text if it cannot browse. Applying the plan is a separate step.

Can a prompt update my live site by itself?

No. Direct edits need a connected tool with permission to make changes. Do not paste your hosting password into a chat. The copy-and-paste path does not give the AI access to your account.

Can I use this to plan a new website?

Yes. Leave the website field blank and describe the page you need. Ask for sections, text, and checks. A plan is not a hosted website; you still need a builder or hosting workflow.
