About Figment

Who writes the blog

Guides, comparisons, and product posts on the Figment blog are written by the Figment editorial team. Some earlier posts (2021–2026) carry an individual byline from a person who worked on the product directly; those bylines are left as originally published.

How posts are researched and dated

Competitor pricing, plan limits, and feature claims are checked against each vendor's own pricing or documentation pages at the time of writing. Where a claim can't be independently confirmed, the post says so rather than guessing. Figment's own usage figures (signups, sites built, sites published) come from internal production data and carry an "as of" date where they're reused across multiple posts, since they are a snapshot, not a live counter.

Posts show a published date and, when they've been revised, an updated date, both on the post itself.

Reporting a correction

If something on the blog or the site is wrong, out of date, or needs a source check, email nikita@figment.so with the page URL and what looks wrong. We fix confirmed errors and, where it matters for a reader's decision, note the correction on the page.
