Carrd Pricing: Pro Lite, Standard, and Plus Explained

Carrd has four tiers — a free Basic plan, then Pro Lite at $9/year, Pro Standard at $19/year, and Pro Plus at $49/year — and the jump that actually matters most, a custom domain and working forms, doesn't happen until Pro Standard. All paid pricing is annual; Carrd doesn't offer a monthly billing option. What does the free Basic plan include?

Carrd's own site describes it plainly: the free tier lets you "build up to three sites per account and use all of Carrd's core features – for free!" (carrd.com, checked September 2026). What Basic doesn't include is anything on the pricing page's paid columns: no custom domain, no working contact or signup forms, no custom templates, and the Carrd badge stays on your published site.

What does Pro Lite add, and what's still missing?

Pro Lite is $9/year for the same 3 site slots as Basic. Reading carrd.com/pro's Pro Lite column directly, it adds: Premium URLs (an unbranded .crd.co address instead of Carrd's default), removing Carrd's branding, high-quality images, large image and video uploads, no element limit, premium and custom templates, video uploads, slideshows, site icons, share images, QR codes, site transfers, and sharing. What it does not list: a custom domain, forms of any kind, widgets, or embeds. Pro Lite is the tier for a nicer-looking, unbranded site on Carrd's own address — not the tier for connecting your own domain or collecting submissions.

What does Pro Standard add?

Pro Standard is $19/year, and this is where the site count grows (10 slots) and the two features most people actually want become available. Carrd's own documentation is direct about the domain requirement: connecting a custom domain "requires Pro Standard or higher" (Carrd Docs, "Using a Custom Domain", checked September 2026). Reading the Pro Standard column on carrd.com/pro, it includes everything in Pro Lite, plus custom domain URLs, forms, widgets, embeds, analytics, meta tags, and local fonts. What does Pro Plus add?

Pro Plus is $49/year with 25 site slots, and it's the tier built for the most technical use cases. Reading its column on carrd.com/pro: everything in Pro Standard, plus advanced forms (which Carrd's site describes as integrating "with Zapier, Make, n8n and Airtable" and supporting "payments (via Stripe Checkout)"), advanced settings, downloading sites, redirects, password protection, variables, site files, framing, update frequency, and canonical URL control. Do site slots scale beyond the base tiers?

Yes. carrd.com/pro lets you pick a bigger site count on every paid tier, at a higher yearly price: Pro Lite goes from 3 to 10 ($14/yr) or 25 sites ($29/yr), and Pro Standard and Pro Plus go up to 1,000 sites (see also Carrd Docs, "Understanding Site Slots", checked September 2026). What if I pick the wrong plan?

Carrd's plans aren't a one-way commitment. If you outgrow Pro Lite's lack of a custom domain, upgrading to Pro Standard is a plan change on the same account, not a rebuild — your existing sites and their content carry over. Before downgrading from a higher tier, check Carrd's own account and billing documentation for what happens to plan-gated features you're actively using, such as a connected custom domain or active forms, since this guide's pricing sources don't cover downgrade behavior specifically. If you specifically need a static, standalone copy as a backup or an exit path, Pro Plus's site download is the only route Carrd documents, and its own limitations — no working forms, no re-upload — mean it's a snapshot, not a live migration tool.

Where does Figment fit in?

Not as a Carrd replacement — Figment publishes a website from a Figma design file through its Figma plugin, and it has no drag-and-drop element editor or built-in form system the way Carrd does.
