How Much Does Figma Make Cost? Plans, Seats, and AI Credits

What does a Full seat cost, and how many credits does it include?
Figma's pricing page lists a separate Full-seat price and monthly AI-credit allotment for each plan (annual billing view, checked September 2026):

Dev and Collab seats cost less per person, but Figma's help center is direct that Make credits on those seats don't scale with plan the way a Full seat's does: Dev and Collab seats get 500 credits/month regardless of plan, and Starter users or anyone on a View seat get "a daily limit of 150 credits" on top of the monthly cap (Figma Help, "How AI credits work", checked September 2026). So a Professional Dev seat at $12/mo and an Enterprise Dev seat at $35/mo both get the same 500 credits — the price difference buys other Dev-seat capabilities, not more Make usage.

Which seats can actually use Figma Make, and for what?
Price per seat only tells half the story — what that seat is allowed to do in Make is gated separately. Per Figma's Figma Make FAQs (checked September 2026):

That last row matters if you're evaluating Make on a free account before upgrading: you can build something, but the only way to get it onto a public URL without a paid Full seat is publishing it into the Figma Community, not privately.
What does a Make action actually cost in credits?
Credits are the real usage meter, and Figma gives rough per-action estimates rather than a fixed price list. Per Figma's help center, a font change takes approximately 30+ credits, making an attached design interactive approximately 75+, and generating an app from scratch approximately 100+ (examples based on Figma's default model). Figma is upfront that these are estimates, not guarantees: "Because the AI determines what actions it needs to perform in order to complete the task, we can't predict exactly how many credits it will use" (Figma Help, "How AI credits work", checked September 2026).
Example: a Professional Full seat's 3,000 monthly credits, at roughly 100+ credits per from-scratch app generation, would cover at most about 30 full app builds a month before running dry — fewer if you're also spending credits on font and interactivity changes along the way, and Figma's own estimates note actual usage varies by complexity. Treat that as a rough planning number, not a guarantee, since Figma states plainly it can't predict exact usage per task.
What happens when credits run out?
Figma's help center states you'll see "an in-product message letting you know" once your pool is spent, and you can't complete further AI actions until your credits reset or an admin adds more (Figma Help, "How AI credits work", checked September 2026). Extra credits are an add-on: the same article says admins can buy additional AI credits through an AI credits subscription or pay-as-you-go billing, shared by anyone on the plan unless the admin sets a custom limit, and Figma's pricing page lists AI credits under add-ons. A Dev, Collab or View seat user can also ask for an upgrade to a Full seat, which carries a larger included allowance. Budget for that add-on if your team will prompt heavily.
Does a custom domain cost extra for a Make project?
Figma's FAQ doesn't list it as a separate line item, but it is plan-gated, and the allowance is shared with Figma's other publishing product. Figma states: "Each plan has a custom domain limit, which is shared between Figma Make and Figma Sites. Organization and Enterprise plans can connect as many custom domains needed, and Professional plans can connect 10 custom domains" (Figma Make FAQs, checked September 2026). The same FAQ says custom domains were free of charge through 2025 while publishing is in beta, and that limits are subject to change after 2025, so check the FAQ for the current terms. Is Figma Make worth it for what it costs?
That depends on what you're building. If the job is a working prototype or app generated from a prompt or an existing design, with code you can export (the Make FAQ lists code export for Full seats), a Full seat's bundled credits are the whole cost — there's no separate Make subscription to weigh against it. If your credit budget is tight, a Dev or Collab seat lets you draft and test the workflow at $3-35/mo depending on plan, with the tradeoff that you can't publish or share from that seat.
Where does Figment fit into this?
Nowhere directly — Figment doesn't have a prompt-to-app builder, and it isn't priced around AI credits.
