Wegic's pitch is that you talk to your website. You describe a business, you get a draft in about a minute, and then you keep typing requests until it looks right. It's cheap too, with paid plans in the $10 to $20 a month range depending on whether you pay monthly or yearly.

I like the product. The reason people go looking for Wegic alternatives is almost always the same, and it's not about the AI being bad.

Describing a layout is harder than making one

There's a point in every chat-based editor where you know exactly what you want and you cannot say it. "Make the second card a bit wider but keep the gap." "Move that heading up, no, less than that." You spend four messages and a chunk of your credit balance getting something a mouse would have fixed in two seconds.

That's the structural issue with conversational-only editing. Language is a great interface for generating a first draft and a terrible one for nudging pixels. Wegic does have a visual layer, but the AI is the main event, and credits meter how much conversation you get.

The second issue is that the output lives in Wegic. They do offer code export on paid plans, which is more than most AI builders give you, though it's part of the paid value layer rather than something you get by default. And exported code is a snapshot, not a workflow. You can't keep editing in Wegic after you've walked off with the files.

Stay on Wegic if

Your site is simple, your budget is tight, and the chat flow is working. Wegic at $10 to $20 a month is legitimately good value for a small multilingual site, and their multi-language generation is better than what most builders in that price range offer.

Stay also if you don't want to learn Figma. That's a real cost. It's a free tool and the basics take an afternoon, but an afternoon is an afternoon.
