I run a website tool, so take this with whatever salt you need. But I've watched thousands of people try to get a site online, and the thing that decides whether they succeed is almost never the first thirty seconds. Every AI builder wins the first thirty seconds. What separates them is what happens at minute forty, when the draft is close and you need one section to be different.

Read the list with that in mind. Prices below are what each vendor listed on their own pricing page in September 2026, and they move around, so check before you buy.

Wix AI

Best for: people who want one subscription that does everything and don't mind the editor.

Wix's AI setup builds you a site from a conversation about your business, then drops you into the regular Wix editor. That handoff is the strongest thing about it, because the editor behind it is mature and has fifteen years of features stapled on. Bookings, stores, email campaigns, all there.

There's a genuinely free plan with Wix ads and a Wix subdomain. Paid starts at Light for about $17.77/mo, Core $29.77, Business $39.77, Business Elite $159.77. Ads and the subdomain go away at the first paid tier.

The catch is the same as it's always been. It's a lot of interface, and moving off Wix later means rebuilding, because there's no export.

Durable

Best for: a one-person service business that needs a site tonight and also needs invoicing.

Durable is the fastest of the bunch and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Free tier gets you a subdomain, a handful of AI images, a small chatbot allowance and a CRM capped at ten customers. Launch is $25/mo, Grow is $49/mo.

The bundle is the real pitch. Website, CRM, invoices, ad copy, all in the same bill. If you're a plumber or a cleaner, that's a better deal than anything on this list. The ceiling is low on design customization by design, so if you have brand opinions you'll hit it fast.

Hostinger

Best for: cheapest path to a live site, if you can stomach a long commitment.

Hostinger bundles the AI builder with hosting and a first-year domain. Premium is advertised at $2.99/mo but that requires a 48-month term, and it renews at $10.99/mo. Unlimited is $3.99 renewing at $16.99, Cloud Startup $7.99 renewing at $25.99. There's a 14-day trial and no permanent free plan.

The four-year math is the thing to notice. It's a real discount, not a fake one, but you're prepaying about $143 to get it.

10Web

Best for: anyone who needs the site to be WordPress at the end.

10Web generates a WordPress site using Elementor and hosts it for you. AI Starter is $10/mo, AI Premium $15, AI Ultimate $22.50, Agency plans from $42.50. Free trial, 30-day money-back.

If your agency, your SEO plugin stack or your developer requires WordPress, this is the obvious pick and nothing else here competes. You inherit WordPress's maintenance burden along with its flexibility, which is a fair trade if you knew what you were signing up for.

B12

Best for: professional services firms that want the site plus client intake.

B12 aims at lawyers, accountants and consultants. Free plan gives you a b12sites.com subdomain and 5 AI credits a day capped at 30 a month. Website is $24/mo, Website plus Client Engagement is $78/mo, which adds scheduling, intake and payments.

If your website's job is to book consultations, the $78 tier is doing more work than a website builder usually does.

Framer

Best for: designers who want a real canvas and AI help inside it.

Framer is the closest thing on this list to how I think about the problem. You get an actual design surface, not a section library, plus AI credits for generation and localization. Free plan publishes to a framer.website subdomain with Framer branding and 500 AI credits a month. Basic is $10/mo, Pro $30/mo. Custom domains need a paid plan.

The honest knock: Framer is its own design tool with its own learning curve, and your file lives in Framer. If your team already designs in Figma, you're either learning a second tool or maintaining two sources of truth.

Lovable, v0 and Bolt

Best for: people comfortable reading code.

These aren't website builders in the small-business sense. They generate real applications from prompts, and they're very good at it. Lovable's free tier runs on a daily build-credit grant capped at 30 a month. v0 and Bolt meter on tokens or credits similarly.

If you want a marketing site, they're overkill and the maintenance lands on you. If you want a working app with auth and a database, they're the only category here that can do it.

Where Figment fits

Figment is the design-first option. You design your site in Figma, which is free, and our plugin publishes those frames as a live site in under a minute. Custom domain, SSL. The Figma file stays the source of truth, so updating the site means editing the design and republishing. Free tier publishes to a subdomain with a small badge. A prompt wired to a closed section library can only return what's in the library, so when the AI gets it 90% right, you're stuck negotiating with a chat window. What none of these solve yet

Taste. Every one of these tools will produce something structurally correct and forgettable. The sites that work still have a person making decisions about what to cut.
