Hostinger AI Website Builder Alternatives: Read the Renewal Price First

9/15/2026 • Nikita Jerschow

Hostinger's website builder wins on price, and it isn't close. You'll see something like $2.99 a month advertised, with AI site generation, an AI writer, an AI logo maker and hosting all bundled in.

Two things about that number. It usually requires committing to a 48-month term paid up front, and it renews at roughly $10.99 a month when the term ends. Reviewers who've tested it over long periods flag the same thing. That's still cheap. It just isn't $2.99, and it's a four-year decision rather than a monthly one.

That's usually the first reason people start comparing Hostinger AI website builder alternatives. The second reason is design.

The design ceiling

Hostinger's AI generates a site from a prompt, then hands you a drag-and-drop editor to adjust it. The editor is fine for what it is. It's also a grid-and-section system, which means your site is assembled from Hostinger's parts, in Hostinger's layout logic, hosted on Hostinger's stack.

If your taste is ahead of the template library, you'll feel it fast. Most reviews that praise Hostinger for speed and value end up noting design polish as the trade. And the more AI tools they bundle in, the more sites start to converge on the same look, because they're all drawing on the same generator.

A different foundation

Figment publishes websites straight out of Figma. You design frames in a free Figma file, run our plugin, and a live site exists in under a minute. Custom domain, SSL, done.

The design isn't constrained by our section library, because we don't have one. Whatever you can draw in Figma is what publishes. That's the actual difference in kind here, not a longer feature list.

Our AI website builder is in early access, not generally available. You request a demo to see it. I'd rather say that plainly than imply we ship something today that Hostinger ships and we don't. What I will claim is the foundation: when AI drafts into a Figma file you own, a bad AI decision is a five-second manual fix instead of a support ticket.

What you get here that Hostinger doesn't

  • You own the design file outright, in Figma, forever, independent of your subscription.
  • The last 10 percent is always fixable by hand.
  • No closed section library. Your layout isn't picked from a menu.
  • Publish in under a minute from the plugin.
  • We've been at this since 2021: 35,077 signups, 31,402 sites built, 20,048 published.

Figment is $29/mo on Pro ($288/yr), $89/mo on Team ($864/yr), with a 30-day free trial and a free tier that publishes to a subdomain with a badge. Month to month. No four-year term.

Stay with Hostinger if

Price is the deciding factor and you want hosting, email, domain and builder from one vendor on one invoice. That bundle at that price is hard to argue with, and their hosting performance genuinely tests well. If you're running a small local business site that needs to exist and rank and not cost much, Hostinger is a sensible answer.

Stay also if you already prepaid for four years. Use what you bought. Come back when it's up for renewal and the comparison is $10.99 against $29.

See the other way of doing it

Book a demo and you'll watch a Figma file become a published site, plus we'll show you where the AI builder is in early access. Or ask around in Discord first.
