TeleportHQ is the odd one in the Figma-to-code group. It's a low-code front-end builder that happens to accept Figma imports, rather than a converter with an editor bolted on. You import a design, refine it in their visual editor, and export to HTML and CSS, React, Next, Vue, Nuxt or Angular, or deploy to Vercel, GitHub or their own hosting. The code generators are open source, which is a genuinely good thing and more than most competitors offer.

Pricing is a 7-day trial, Pro at $14/mo billed monthly and Premium at $28/mo, with a discount for yearly. Trial and Pro limit export to static projects. There's a stack of add-ons on top: extra editor seats at $9.99/mo, interactive project slots at $19.99/mo, extra locales at $7/mo, custom domains at $3/mo, and AI token packs at $10 per 100,000 tokens.

The two-editors problem

The import model has a structural issue. Once you import to TeleportHQ and start refining there, you have two versions of your design. The Figma file your team actually works in, and the TeleportHQ project that's actually published.

Re-import after a design change and you either overwrite the refinements you made in TeleportHQ, or you hand-patch both. In practice, teams quietly abandon the Figma file and TeleportHQ becomes the real design tool. That's fine if you wanted to move into TeleportHQ. It isn't what most people thought they were signing up for.

The second thing is the add-on pricing. A $14 plan with a domain, an extra seat and an interactive slot is a different number, and it's worth adding up your actual configuration before comparing.

One file, published

Stay with TeleportHQ if

You want code out the other end, in a framework you picked, from an open-source generator you can inspect. That's a real advantage and it matters if your team is going to own and extend the output. It also matters if you're wary of any vendor and want the escape hatch visible up front.

Stay also if you're building interactive UI components rather than a marketing site, or if you genuinely prefer working in a visual builder over working in Figma. Some people do, and that's a fine reason.
